Frequently asked questions
Here you’ll find an overview of the most frequently asked questions regarding the UFLP application process.
1. How do I know that my application has been received?
You should receive an e-mail from us saying that we received your application. If you didn’t receive an e-mail please contact our Peoplelink contactcenter: 0800-0201072
2. What does the application process look like?
After your online application you will receive a notification within two weeks that you passed the first round. After one week you will receive an invitation to complete two online tests through our partner Kenexa. You will be asked to complete these tests within a few days after receiving the invitation. When you submitted these tests we will notify you within two weeks if you are invited to do an interview by phone. After your telephone interview you will hear within three weeks whether or not you have made it to the final round: the inhouse assessment center. The assessment day will take one full day and within one day we will let you know if you can get started as a Future Leader at Unilever! The assessment centres run from November 2011 until February 2012.
3. How long does the application process take?
The application process will take around 8 - 10 weeks. It is, however, possible that your process will take more or less time than this average duration. This may be due to the following factors:
- The total amount of applications: We expect to get a lot of applications for the Unilever Future Leaders Programme. Careful handling of all the applications is a time consuming task. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
- Planning the assessment centre of your discipline.
- Applications for assessment centre that are in the near future get priority. Consequently, when the assessment centre of your discipline is organized later, completion of the assessment will also be later.
- It is possible that due to holidays around the year some assessment centers are delayed4. Do I get feedback during the application process?
Due to the large number of expected applications, we are unable to provide you with feedback on your resume, your online tests OR YOUR telephone interview. If you will be submitted to the last round, you will receive feedback after the assessment day. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
